The event takes place at the Helsinki Fair Centre in connection with Materia 08 trade fair. Materia 08 lasts from Tuesday the 15th to Friday the 18th of April, whereas NMP Finland takes place on Wednesday and Thursday (16th-17th).

You can find the location and travel information on the Helsinki Fair Centre website. Also it might be useful to check the alternative driving routes to the Fair Centre (in Finnish), because the roadworks nearby may cause traffic jams on the regular routes. The parking ticket costs 5 euros from the cashier or 7 euros at the gate.

 

Registration and entrance

Preregistration for NMP Finland is required. All participants need to be registered individually using the registration form. You'll also need a physical NMP Finland name badge from our own registration desk or from the Tekes stand.

NMP Finland has a registration desk of its own during the conference day mornings at the Southern Entrance of Helsinki Fair Centre. By pre-registering online using the registration form AND visiting the NMP Finland registration desk to get your name badge, you don't need to register separately to the co-located Materia 08 Trade Fair. Please check the location of the Southern Entrance on the Helsinki Fair Centre website. The NMP Finland registration desk is open on

  • Wednesday from 08.00 to 10.30
  • Thursday from 08.00 to 11.00

From the registration desk you'll receive

  • NMP Finland name badge entitling you to come and go freely during the conference - remember to take it with you also on Thursday!
  • Lunch tickets for Wednesday and Thursday
  • Conference Proceedings, which includes the conference programme
  • Location of the conference hall

NOTE! If you won't be able to visit the NMP Finland registration desk during its opening hours to get your badge, you can

  • Register online separately to Materia 08 Trade Fair on their website for free entrance to the fair. You will then also need to drop by the Tekes stand (stand number 3a16) to get your NMP Finland badge.

  • Buy a ticket to Materia 08 Trade Fair from the fair's registration desk. You will then also need to drop by the Tekes stand (stand number 3a16) to get your NMP Finland badge.
